We went over to Sunriver for Dan’s birthday. We were going to go practice our mountaineering stuff but the weather sucked and we couldn’t find a slope without little kiddies on their inner tubes. So I pushed Ingrid into the snow and ran away. Dan and Kate bought some crabs and we tried to eat them but none of us are coasties so we just ruined the crabs.

New bike
Friday, January 18th, 2008My old Trek has been showing its age and has a lot of work to be done to it. Thursday the pedal threads on the crankarm finally went away and I couldn’t put on new pedals. So I went down to the store and bought a new Lemond Poprad Disc. Lemond bikes are made by Trek so I figure it’ll be a good bike. I wanted one with disc brakes as I hate changing v-brakes, and they work really well.
Angel’s Rest
Sunday, January 13th, 2008On Saturday Ingrid, John, the dogs and I went up Angels Rest. As it was raining at the bottom I left my camera and resorted to using my camera phone. Which is too bad as the views were great once the rain stopped. And we left the Cheez-its in the car.
Moving Ron
Wednesday, January 2nd, 2008Ron finally wised up and moved back to Portland.
New Years
Tuesday, January 1st, 2008Our exciting New Years consisted of having a fire in the cold and then going inside to watch The Departed after we ran out of flammable chain lube.
