Cyclecross Kruegers
This Weeks race was at Kruegers on Sauvie Island. It was pretty cold but clear and good conditions, at least compared to Hillsboro the previous week. I did better than last week even though I started at the back and had to make my way forward. Next race I'll start closer to the front. Both Matt and Ingrid did well again. Thanksgiving
We went to the beach for Thanksgiving again this year. Ingrid and I went up Saddle Mountain to try and work up an appetite. It was really clear and cold and we could see all the way to the Olympics. Then Simone ate my last piece of pie.

Cyclecross Hillsboro Stadium
This weekends race was at Hillsboro Stadium. I thought it was time to get my ass kicked again so I raced as well. I put knobbies on my commuting bike and took everything else off to make it a little bit lighter. It was a pretty muddy race but lots of fun. It seemed it was over faster than last time and I had paced myself a bit too much and didn't push as hard as I should have. Now Keevin, he pushed himself and fell on his boys and nose. There are a few pics of him in pain. At the end I saw a guy was about 10 bike lengths ahead of me and tried to sprint and catch him but lost by a half wheel length. I think I pulled a Carl Lewis.

80s Skating
Ingrid had the idea of going Skating but also thought we should dress up in 80's outfits as we had missed Halloween. So we looked like dorks while at a Japanese restaurant but we fit in with the people who skate at Oaks Park.

Cyclecross Estacada
Today we went down to Estacada for cyclecross. The course was really cool. Matt & Keevin both did really well. Here is a video of them on an off camber corner.

Visitors
Alex came out to Portland for work and stayed at our place for two nights. This is his out of focus picture. We took him to see Blade Runner, which bored everyone but me and Keevin, and for some beer afterwords at a "Portlandy" place.
On Saturday morning Clif decided to come over and hang out for a little bit before I went to run stairs on Mt. Tabor with May, Jami and Mo. Clif has put on a little winter weight but is still a cute little fucker.

Cyclecross Barton
Today's cyclecross was out past Clackamas at a quarry. It was super nice out and cool run ups and hills. Keevin did really well and probably came in 3rd. Ingrid did good and took those chicks on the run ups.

Seattle w/ Ding
Ingrid, Ding and I made a quick trip up to Seattle to hang out with Sara. We had breakfast at Dish, my favorite place in Seattle. We went to the art exhibit downtown and after getting yelled at for touching the art we went over to the Market to watch donuts being made.
