    • Bike Tour Mountaineering Mt. Adams

    Dan was nice enough to join me on a bike-tour-mountaineering trip this year. First day was to Trout Lake, which was great until we went uphill without a 20mph tailwind. Second day was up some gnarly dirt roads to the trailhead where we rested and melted snow for water. Third day was summit day, taking 10 hours bike-to-bike, and another hour to coast down to burgers in Trout Lake. We had a few beers with JoEllen at her place before crashing in the city park. Fourth day we rode through Hood River and on I-84 and the Old Highway as the Washington side was scary with all of the traffic.
