Bike training

Ingrid got me a heart rate monitor that hooks up to the bike with a speedo and a cadence thingy. And then you can upload it to your computer and look at pictures. Here is one from a ride today I did with Keevin. We rode out past Sauvie's Island and took McNamee Rd up to Skyline and back to home.

Seattle visit

Ingrid's friend Inez came up to check out Seattle as she is thinking of moving there from Phoenix. Can't really blame her. We saw Clif on Friday and he posed for some pictures. In Seattle we saw downtown and the market. After buying a large salmon and some hugeass scallops, we listened to Slimpickenz. They were pretty dope. After we hung out with Sara at her house and had some beers and bbq. On Sunday we went to a Puerto Rican restaurant which made Inez really want to move up.

Beaver Freezer Trey

Trey did the Beaver Freezer down in Corvallis on Saturday, so Ingrid and I went down to cheer him on. We tried to show Simone how to yell properly and she improved on our cheering by taunting the other racers.

Biking pics

I've been meaning to bring a camera on my rides to work since I've seeing cool things like beavers and snow. But I've just had my phone camera.

Easter

For Easter I made an egg hunt for Ingrid in the morning. After that we put out eggs for Kelly, she was really fast and took care of the hunt in like 5 minutes.

Strawberries

This weekend Ingrid and I made some raised beds to put in strawberries. Simone and Trey came by on Sunday to give advice and help mix in the soil.

Zihuatanejo, Mexico

Last weekend Ingrid and I went down to Zihuatanejo for a few days to hang out. As I still can't walk too well or far, we mainly stayed around the hotel and made small trips out to get food.

We walked through the market a few times and I wanted to show her a tortilla maker. So we were going down a street and I looked into a store and then went back one and asked them where they make tortillas. After a minute I realized they were saying that the store just next door makes them.
